The DISI disintegration tester is a novel, fully automatic measuring instrument which combines proven design with new, innovative concepts in data capture and analysis. For example, the baskets are fully protected against corrosion, while signal transmission is achieved without physical connections, allowing easy handling. In disintegration tests, the decrease in height is measured for each upward movement of the basket with the aid of discs, and transmitted to the PC. The remaining residual height is displayed continuously on the PC screen as a graph.
